At Private Medical Clinic, we offer a straightforward and efficient assessment process, providing both virtual and in-person one-to-one consultations with a specialist doctor for individuals aged six and above. Our goal is to make diagnosis and treatment accessible, ensuring you receive the support you need as quickly as possible.
Step 1: Book a Free 10-Minute Consultation
Your journey begins with a free initial call with one of our representatives. This consultation allows us to understand your concerns and guide you toward the most suitable assessment option.
Step 2: Comprehensive ADHD Assessment
Following the initial consultation, we will schedule a one-to-one assessment with a specialist ADHD psychiatrist based on the service you choose. Our assessments cost £795 and are conducted via video consultation for convenience. During the session, which typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, the doctor will thoroughly review your medical history and conduct a detailed evaluation.
Step 3: Receive an Official Diagnosis
If ADHD is diagnosed, our psychiatrist will provide a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. This may include lifestyle recommendations, psychotherapy, and treatment options. You will also receive an official diagnosis letter, which can be added to your medical records for future reference.
Step 4: Start Treatment the Same Day
Once diagnosed, you can begin your treatment on the same day, provided you are in good health. You will have the option to book a medication appointment to discuss the most suitable treatment based on your lifestyle and work schedule. Treatments are available on the same day in London and the next day across the rest of the UK.
Step 5: Ongoing Treatment & Support
We provide continuous support through follow-up sessions to ensure your treatment is effective. These sessions last 30 minutes each, and typically, three follow-ups are recommended to monitor progress and adjust dosage as needed.
In addition to assessments and treatment, Private Medical Clinic offers a range of extra services, including repeat treatment advice, second opinions, and personalised therapy. We also collaborate with your GP to ensure you receive the best possible care and guidance.
