There is little to no downtime. Most patients return to work or normal activities the same day. Some common short-term side effects may include:

• Mild swelling or tenderness (resolves in 2–3 days)
• Small bruises (fade within a week)

Makeup can usually be applied within 24 hours to cover any marks. We advise avoiding alcohol, strenuous exercise, or facial massages for 24–48 hours post-treatment.

You may not be suitable for cheek fillers if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a history of severe allergies or reactions to dermal fillers
• Have certain medical conditions such as bleeding disorders or autoimmune conditions
• Are taking blood-thinning medication (consultation required)
