What conditions can't you help with?

We strive to assist with most medical queries, but there are certain limitations due to our licensing requirements. Below is a non-exhaustive list of conditions and treatments we are unable to provide:

  • Emergency Care – We cannot provide immediate treatment for medical emergencies such as acute chest pain, stroke, severe trauma, or serious infections requiring inpatient care. Please call 999 or visit your nearest A&E for urgent medical assistance.
  • Dental Issues – We are not licensed to diagnose or treat dental conditions. For urgent dental concerns, please contact your dentist or call NHS 111 for out-of-hours advice.
  • Controlled Drugs & Specialist Medications – Our service does not prescribe controlled substances, opiate-based medications, immunosuppressants, or treatments for ADHD. For a full list of controlled drugs, please refer to the GOV UK website.
  • COVID Antiviral Treatments – Medications such as Paxlovid require specialist initiation and close monitoring. If you need these treatments, please contact NHS 111 for guidance.

If you're unsure whether we can assist with your concern, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to advise further.
